2. What data we use and why

We process personal data to provide the website, answer enquiries, hold the conversations you request and manage partner profiles.

The Swiss Federal Act on Data Protection applies. Where the European General Data Protection Regulation applies, we base the processing on the handling of pre-contractual enquiries or the performance of a contract, on our legitimate interests in operating the website securely and answering enquiries, and on your consent where it is required. Legal obligations may require data to be kept for longer.

We do not use any analytics or advertising tracking services of our own. No automated decision with legal or similarly significant effects takes place.

3. Hosting and technical data

The website is operated by Hetzner Online GmbH, Industriestrasse 25, 91710 Gunzenhausen, Germany, in its data centre in Falkenstein, Germany.

When you access the website, your IP address is processed technically so that the content can be transmitted to your browser.

The web server keeps no access logs. System and firewall logs exist for security and administration. They may contain IP addresses and information about connections or security events. The firewall logs rejected connection attempts with the sender’s IP address. An error log of the website records technical error messages; it contains no IP addresses but may, in individual cases, contain information from a form. All these logs are deleted automatically after four weeks.

Daily backup copies are made on the same server and are overwritten or deleted after 14 days.

4. Contacting us

If you contact us by email, via the contact form or by phone, we use your details to handle your enquiry and to respond as you wish. This includes in particular your name, email address, phone number, the content of your message and, where applicable, a requested call-back time.

Emails to our addresses on the domain (info@goldprinzip.com and melik@goldprinzip.com) are forwarded to our Gmail mailbox via the forwarding service ImprovMX (ImprovMX Inc., USA); forwarding may take place on servers in the European Union and in the USA.

Our email communication runs through Google’s Gmail. Google then processes messages and contact details; processing in the USA and other countries is possible. You will find further information in Google’s privacy policy.

Emails sent by the website itself (for example messages from the contact form) are sent via the sending service Lettermint (Lettermint B.V., Netherlands) on servers in the European Union.

On partner pages, enquiries can be addressed to the contact person named there.

5. Public partner profiles

If you apply for a partner profile, we use the details you submit to review, prepare and manage your personal page.

Only the details intended for publication and approved by you appear publicly, for example your name, business contact details, profile description, photo and registration link. Internal messages are not published.

Publication only takes place after review and approval by Melik Benjemia. Partners do not receive their own administration access. You can request changes to a profile or its removal using the contact details above.

6. Settings and calculator

The website takes into account the language transmitted by your browser. A manual language choice, the display and your decision on external content can be stored in your browser.

The website sets no cookies. At most three settings are stored in your browser’s storage: the language you chose, the display (light or dark) and your decision on YouTube videos. They contain no information about you, are not transmitted to us and remain stored until you delete them in your browser.

Your entries in the calculator are processed exclusively in your browser. They are neither transmitted to our server nor stored.

7. YouTube

Our website uses videos from YouTube, a Google service. The videos are embedded in privacy-enhanced mode (youtube-nocookie.com).

No connection to YouTube is made before you give your consent; the website shows only its own preview image. After your consent, the video player can be loaded. Google then receives in particular your IP address and technical information about your browser, device and video request. Processing in the USA and other countries is possible. If you are logged in to a Google account, data can be linked to your account.

Privacy-enhanced mode does not prevent every transfer of data to Google. You will find further information in Google’s privacy policy.

Your decision is stored in your browser (see section 6). You can change it at any time in the website’s privacy settings (“Settings”). A withdrawal takes effect for the future.

8. External links and QR codes

The website contains links and QR codes to external offers, in particular to registration with Trust Gold and to linked social channels.

If you open such a link or the target of a QR code, the respective provider processes data in accordance with its own privacy policy. A registration link may contain a partner identifier so that the registration can be attributed to the person who referred you.

9. Technical support from Tunisia

Technical administration and maintenance are carried out by an external technical service provider based in Tunisia. Where necessary for its tasks, it may access data stored on the server. This may concern in particular form entries and partner data. Access is encrypted and limited to this server; the service provider keeps no copies of this data outside the server.

10. Retention and security

We keep personal data for as long as is necessary for the respective purpose. It is then deleted, unless statutory retention obligations or the safeguarding or enforcement of legal claims prevent this.

The website automatically deletes:

• rejected partner applications after 3 months;
• ended partner profiles 30 days after they end;
• system, firewall and error logs after 4 weeks;
• the daily backup copies after 14 days.

Data in backup copies is removed in the regular backup cycle. We use appropriate technical and organisational measures to protect personal data against unauthorised access, loss and misuse.

11. Your rights

Within the scope of applicable data protection law, you can request information about your personal data and its correction or deletion. Where provided for by law, you also have rights to the release or portability of your data, to restriction of processing and to object.

You can withdraw any consent you have given at any time with effect for the future. For such requests you can reach us at goldprinzip@gmail.com. To prevent unauthorised disclosure, we may ask for suitable proof of identity.

You can also contact the Federal Data Protection and Information Commissioner at www.edoeb.admin.ch or another competent data protection supervisory authority.

12. Changes

We adapt this policy when our data processing or the legal requirements change. The version published on this website applies.
